Artist's Comments Seriously, folks. Please? I recognize the names of less than 10% of the people who have faved this. I'm not just this stamp, folks. Check out the rest of my gallery, please! Even just to look around would be great...I'm fed up with seeing crap-ass unlawful photomanipulations of screencaptures. I'm tired of seeing demotivators. I can't stand it when I come across people uploading screencaptures TO THE TRADITIONAL ART CATEGORY. Most of all, I am filled with RAGE whenever I see tracers, "referencers," or "sprite mixers"--especially when these people receive favorites, AND LOTS OF THEM. As though the people who faved it don't even care. dART is NOT Photobucket, /b/tards. Don't upload it if you didn't draw it. It's called ART THEFT. If you want to share your plagiarism with the In/tard/webs, Photobucket will gladly accommodate you--it doesn't claim any artistic sanction. Oh god you have no idea how much I agree with you! I don't even know how the hell people can make that mistake. How do you wander into a site with ART in it's FREAKING NAME and see people posting a bunch of original art and think it's for anything else?!

I've also encountered people who think that because they drew it themselves, copying a piece detail-for-detail isn't art theft, too. I bet that they think that if they hand-copied passages for a paper, they wouldn't think it was plagiarized, either.

Sadly, that's probably not true. Every school I've ever been to has crammed our heads with what is and isn't plagiarism for the written word, no such education has ever existed for art. Either you have some common sense and morals and can pick it up for yourself, or you don't. Gotta love our WONDERFUL educational system creating double standards.
